Famine causes another big threat in the country and to reduce its danger research laboratories of Indian Council of Agricultural Research has developed the draught resistance varieties and new methods of agriculture. Agriculture pattern are being developed so less water is used by crops. National Crop forecast Centre in association with National Remote Sensing Centre-ISRO is estimating the draught areas in the country.
