Birth Centenary Celebrations of Indian Scientists (E)
On the occasion of National Mathematics Day on December 22nd, a year-long programme was launched in New Delhi to celebrate the birth centenaries of six inspirational Indian scientists who were born in the year 1922. Honble Vice President inaugurated the celebrations and paid tributes to the six scientists. The programme has been designed by Vigyan Prasar, an autonomous organization under the Department of Science and Technology, under the umbrella of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
