International Coastal Clean-Up Day (E)
International Coastal Cleanup Day is observed on the third Saturday of September and on this day people participate voluntarily to save the coasts and the beaches from the marine litter. This year, some countries are using every Saturday of this month to make the programme more effective. In India, several programmes are being run under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change to conserve the beauty of the coasts and to keep them pollution free..Let’s see a report on the significance of this day and the efforts are done in India to save our coastline.
