Several steps are being taken by the Ministry of Science and Technology to popularize the science stream at the higher secondary level among the girl students. The Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Dr. Jitendra Singh gave this information during the recent Rajya Sabha session. The minister informed about the programme Vigyan Jyoti, which was started in the year 2019-20 to encourage the meritorious girl students of class 9th to 12th.
