COVID-19 vaccine Zykov-D (E)
Zydus cadilla’s COVID-19 vaccine Zykov-D has also got approval for emergency use in India. This is the world’s first DNA based vaccine for COVID-19 , in partnership with the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council of the Department of Biotechnology, developed under Mission COVID Suraksha. This indigenous vaccine can be used for children as well as adults above 12 years of age.
